Charyl Weissbach works in encaustic, creating pattern and arboreal-based paintings incorporating a variety of techniques and materials, including gilding with metal leaf, metallic powdered pigments, and resin. She creates customized stencils with the use of Indonesian Tjap batiking tools, to produce patterned effects. Weissbach received her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art with a concentration in painting and art history. She has exhibited her paintings in several locations both locally and nationally. Private collectors throughout the United States have purchased her encaustic paintings.
