Having spent her adult life practicing as a psychologist/psychoanalyst, Fader finds that she approaches painting with a completely different perspective than how she was “trained” to think analytically. She is interested in surface, rather than depth, in color and shape, rather than words. Fader finds resolution in the form or design of the canvas and looks to color as a kind of collision/collusion of unthought ideas. Meaning is in the eye of the beholder and can become anything, anytime, anyplace.
