Products & Vendor Selection:

To ensure Market quality and cohesiveness, we will jury all entries to make sure they are of compatible quality and diversity. Please be sure to provide an accurate description of your products, as well as a link to your website. ALL PRODUCTS YOU WISH TO SELL MUST BE LISTED ON THIS APPLICATION. Any new or additional products must be approved by SoWa Boston and/or the Boston Health Department. 

Reserved Rates:

In 2016, there are twenty-seven Sundays between May 1 and October 30. You can sign up for the following options.

  • Six Pack: One Sunday per Month - $300 ($50/Sunday)
  • Twelve Pack: Two Sundays per Month - $600 ($50/Sunday)
  • Full Case: Every Sunday (27 weeks) - $1,200 ($44.44/Sunday) 

Six Pack & Twelve pack options must be paid in full, however payments for full season reservations can be made monthly ($200 per month, at least fifteen days in advance) via our payment page

Stand-By List:

You may apply for our stand-by list if you wish to participate in single Sunday markets in the event that any reserved Vendors cancel. Stand-by vendors are held to the same approval requirements as regular vendors; and should a space become available, will be selected on a first come, first serve basis once notified via email of an opening. Stand-by rates are $75.00 per Sunday. 

Cancellations & Refunds: 

SoWa Boston must be notified of any cancellations by Wednesday at 12 pm for the upcoming Sunday market. If we are able to replace you from our stand-by list, we will credit you for that week. If you notify us after the deadline, no-show, or if we are unable to fill your space, there will be no refund. Any Vendor that cancels more than once will be subject to having their reserved spaces revoked for the remainder of the season. 

Bad Weather:

The Market must be open at least four hours for you to be charged for that week. If the Market runs less than four hours or if the Market is closed due to bad weather, you will be credited for that Sunday. Bad weather closures will be at the discretion of SoWa Boston, but we will be reasonable in our determination.

Set-Up and Take-Down:    

Vendors must supply their own 10 x 10 white tents and related equipment, transport dollies, and displays. Forty pound weights must be used on all tent legs. Vendors must be in place and ready one hour before Market opening at 10 AM. Vendors must break-down and exit the Market area within one hour of the close of the Market at 4 PM. Vendors may not leave until the Market closes, unless given permission by the Market manager. Tent locations will be assigned by SoWa Boston. 


This application is for Vendor’s completion and submission, and does not guarantee admission. Once vetted, SoWa Boston will notify you via email if you are approved. 

Insurance & Indemnification:

Upon acceptance, all SoWa Farmers Market vendors must submit copies of all local/state/federal health and sanitation documentation required by authorities, and have their insurance agent email a current Certificate of Liability Insurance to info@sowaboston.com.

Vendors indemnify and hold harmless SoWa North LLC, GTI Properties Inc, and their officers, agents and employees from and against all liabilities, loss, injuries, damages, and claims arising out of or related in any way to your participation in the SoWa Open Market.
