SoWa Farmers Market is Back May 5

There is nothing that signals warm weather season like the return of your favorite outdoor Farmers Market.

We love the fresh produce and food that can be found at the SoWa Market. The vendors always make sure to use seasonality to their advantage. Some of the things we are looking forward to this year are fiddleheads in the beginning of the season, corn towards the middle, and ,of course, pumpkins and baked goods with all the warm fall spices!

The Farmers Market offers a wide variety of craft cider, cold brew tea, smoked fish, homemade pasta + sauce, fresh flowers, and plenty of New England classics like honey and maple syrup. If you use these locally sourced ingredients in any of your cooking, be sure to tag us! Happy grocery shopping!

Restaurant Guide to First Fridays

There is so much more to SoWa than meets the eye! We are not only home to amazing galleries, artist studios and locally owned shops, but so many amazing and award winning restaurants too! First Friday is the perfect time to do it all. Explore, mingle, shop, sip and taste all at once! Known for their weekday specials of $1 dumplings, Banyan Bar is the perfect spot for sharable dishes among groups. Order a variety for the table and cheers with one of their fabulous cocktails! In the warmer months, their outdoor seating is the star of the show with twinkling lights and trendy lounge seating.

CINQUENCENTO

This spacious restaurant in the heart of SoWa is perfect for a group setting. If you are out with friends or family be sure to stop by. Pop open a bottle of wine and relax as you enjoy the classic dishes influenced by Roman cuisine.

Their drinks are packed with refreshing flavors that will transport you to a tropical oasis. This lively stop is full of fun and relaxing vibes and amazing eats perfect after a long week of work.

We would like to send a warm welcome to one of the newest members of the SoWa neighborhood— Vintage Garden. This flower design shop has its new home on Thayer St. Stop by their shop to see beautiful arrangements, shop their various books, chocolate or candies, and explore their available workshops. If you can’t get enough of their flowers you can contact them about their weekly or bi-weekly flower arrangement programs or their home garden installations.
