Admission is $10. The SoWa Winter Festival is a whole experience, and as we do not have large corporate sponsors, the admission fee is used toward the operation of the festival (20+ staff at all times, décor, activations, entertainment, cleaning, trash removal, etc.)Since this is an indoor market, we are also responsible for utilities (heat!), water & sewer, electricity, and City of Boston real estate taxes. Implementing this fee allows us to charge less to the local vendors than other competing markets on a per date basis. Any leftover funds are used towards other free neighborhood and community events such as the SoWa Open Market (every Sunday from May through October) and SoWa First Friday which are free of charge to attend.
Kids 12 and under are free!
